We follow up in observing and consulting with our Clients on their projects through completion. This is an installation of Indian multi slate on cement board on plywood sub-floor with a stream bed cut out of it and a bed of variously-sized river rock.
What possibilities exist to enliven this farmhouse's main entry with the trees, the budget, and a more interesting sense of entry?
...adding a landscape form, more trees, and a penninsula of soil & rock as an interim phase of the future makeover of the farmhouse.
...almost finished with the pergola and landscaping phase
A further phase, but the T-posts, roping and deer fencing are not intended as permanent features. Deer and other critters are on-going assets & deficits of this neighborhood.
An Observation
We do not rush the development of a project without intense planning for interim and future phases, which may result in smaller, step-by-step projects, in concert with budgets and schedules, etc.
The next phase of this portion of the landscaping and stream & pond elements is to enclose the whole left and right sides of this entry walk with fencing and structure complementary to the pergola, so it becomes an entire composition.
